*Sigh*… This session was magic. The love this family shares is palpable and the beautiful Perrot State Park provided a stunning backdrop for their session.

My goal for every session is to provide images of connection, love, and memories of this season of life to hold on to for years to come. This session checked all the boxes and fulfilled all my goals as a family photographer. It made me so excited for this upcoming outdoor family photography season! More just like it, please!

I have known this mama and fellow photographer for a few years and was thrilled to meet her part-way between our home towns for this session at the gorgeous Perrot State Park in western Wisconsin. With gloomy skies, chilly early spring weather, and mostly brown surroundings, the conditions were not what some would call ideal, but to me they were absolutely perfect. Sitting among the beautiful bluffs of the Mississippi River, the location was wonderful despite the early spring conditions. Truly, any location and any condition is perfect when you have a family that loves on one another and truly enjoys and embraces the process. After all, that’s what it’s all about.
