Bringing home a new baby is a beautiful, emotional time. No matter if it is your first baby or third, it’s a time of immense love. As a lifestyle photographer, being welcomed into your home to photograph these early moments of joy and connection is an absolute honor.

This session was magic. The love this family shares is palpable and the beautiful Perrot State Park provided a stunning backdrop for their session.

My goal for every session is to provide images of connection, love, and memories of this season of life to hold on to for years to come. This session checked all the boxes and fulfilled all my goals as a family photographer.

Sweet Hattie is turning one! To celebrate, mom and dad scheduled a first birthday milestone family session. A warm, sunny evening in March, the golden rays of light were perfect, welcomed, and wonderful.

In-home sessions have my heart. The simplicity, authentic interactions, and organic feel is just so pure and full of love. Add a newborn to the mix and that tangible love multiplies significantly.

My dear friends welcomed their first baby to this world last month and experienced the intense love only a newborn can bring with into a family. Adding to their two dogs and a cat, their house is full of a happy, snuggly chaos.

When you’re planning a session in February in Minnesota, and the weather throws sub-zero temperatures at you, indoor locations must be planned! The beautiful Sargent’s Nursery & Greenhouse in Red Wing made for the perfect backdrop for this 1 year milestone session.
